We’re seeking locals who are willing to serve as ambassadors to help light a local spark that ignites a larger conversation about Chicago’s future.
What is A More Just Chicago Ambassador?
Chicago is at a turning point. Our future depends on voices from every neighborhood — not just City Hall.
Ambassadors are those who bring this conversation into living rooms, classrooms, businesses, and neighborhoods. They host gatherings, spark dialogue, and give their neighbors a voice.
What Ambassadors do
HOST NEIGHBORHOOD GATHERINGS that spark dialogue and share ideas.
SPREAD AWARENESS about city charter reform in their own networks.
JOIN MONTHLY MEETUPS with fellow ambassadors to learn and encourage one another.
HELP DOCUMENT this historic movement with stories, photos, and voices from their communities.
How we support them
TRAINING from AMJC staff in facilitation, speaking and leadership
RESOURCES, toolkits, and materials to guide their conversations
FUNDING what they need to host meetings, dinners and events
LIVE SUPPORT with AMJC staff attending and assisting with events
ACCESS to leaders in government, business, science, and community life
RECOGNITION throughout our channels for their efforts and advocacy
